PROJECT RUNWAY WINNER ANTHONY RYAN AULD TO HEADLINE AT BIRMINGHAM FASHION WEEK 2013
“Fan Favorite” Joshua McKinley to Headline Alongside Auld

Birmingham, AL – As of Thursday, January 17, Anthony Ryan Auld is the reigning Project Runway All Stars Season 2 winner. Because of his win, Birmingham Fashion Week is bringing him in as the headlining designer for Friday, March 1, alongside competitor and ‘Fan Favorite,’ Joshua McKinley. Auld, also a Project Runway Season 9 designer, will be hitting BFW’s runway, showcasing his forward yet wearable women’s line of clothing, while McKinley, close friend and Season 9 runner-up, will display his bedazzled menswear line.

Texas native, Anthony Ryan Auld realized his potential to be a designer while sewing a quilt with his grandmother when he was a young child. He received his Bachelor of Science in apparel design at Louisiana State University in 2009 and then studied in Paris, France at the Paris American Academy. Currently, his clothing line is featured in stores throughout Baton Rouge and New Orleans, already receiving amazing reviews at New York Fashion Week. Auld was named Best in Show at Fashion Group International’s Dallas Career Day in 2010.

Joshua McKinley, born and raised in Sunnyside, NY, attended The Fashion Institute of Technology, as well as the prestigious Polimoda in Florence, Italy. An up and coming designer, he provides fashions for private-label brands. McKinley is based in New York where he launched his own menswear collection with dazzling energy and flare and also designs custom women’s pieces.
