Camp Smile-A-Mile was founded in 1985. Our mission today is to provide year round challenging, unforgettable recreational and educational experiences for young cancer patients, their families as well as young adult survivors from Alabama at no cost. Our purpose is to provide these patients, families and survivors with avenues for fellowship, to help them cope with their disease, and to prepare them for life after cancer.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes touches millions of lives… one heart at a time. Our mission is to present to coaches and athletes, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church. Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA is the largest Christian sports organization in the world. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ.

A.skate Foundation
A.skate Foundation
A.Skate Foundation is a national nonprofit founded in Birmingham, AL that encourages children with autism to be a part of a social scene through skateboarding. Skateboarding addresses the social and sensory deficits that affect children with autism. The foundation holds clinics, provides one on one skate lessons at no cost and also awards grants for skateboarding gear. Additionally, A. Skate promotes awareness about skateboarding and its benefits for children with autism.
A.Skate has established successful programs across the United States and in Ireland serving over 4,000 children with autism each year. Unfortunately, the foundation has yet to be successful in Birmingham due to the lack of resources and support. Currently, Faith Skate Supply and A.Skate are raising funds for The Birmingham Skate Park Project and to purchase land needed to house the park.
