Faith Skate – LifeStyle night

Faith Skate Supply has serviced the Birmingham skateboarding scene since 1995. The grassroots, DIY vibe and their commitment to selling quality skateboard products, clothing and footwear have made Faith a mainstay in Birmingham. Now with skateboarding’s continued popularity, Faith is committed to finding safe places for their patrons to skate. Faith has proposed The Birmingham Skate Park Project in conjunction with A.Skate. A.Skate Foundation is a national nonprofit founded in Birmingham, which exposes children with autism to skateboarding as a social and therapeutic outlet similar to that of occupational therapy. A.Skate has established successful programs across the United States and in Ireland serving over 4,000 children with autism each year. Unfortunately, they have yet to be successful in the city it was founded upon due to the lack of resources. Currently, Faith and A.Skate are raising funds for a The Birmingham Skate Park Project and locating land needed to house the park. For more information: www.askate.org

Shaias
Shaia’s

Shaia’s is a men’s wear retailer in the finest sense of the tradition. More than a shop that sells suits, sportswear, shoes, accessories and formal wear; Shaia’s is a destination for camaraderie. A family-owned business where knowing personnel are at your service, eager to inform you on the traditions and rules of dressing well, then show you how to bend those rules to suit your personal style. Where the salespeople are professionals and approach their duties with care and flair. Where dressing well is the premise for coming in, but like the coffee houses or men’s clubs of old, one lingers for the news of the day and the exchange of ideas. It’s a mingling of generations, personalities and points of view where anyone can feel at home upon arrival, and will be well dressed upon departure.
